Dave Bogart
Dave Bogart started hunting 16 years ago when he was 12 years old. Things have really changed since then, he would get off the bus from school and run to the tree stand to squeeze in an evening hunt. Dave had know idea what he was doing back then but finally at age 16 he killed his first buck.From that point on Dave was hooked and things began to click and although it took him another 4 years before he was able to harvest a p&y buck he felt like he was slowly figuring things out. Then in the fall of 2006, Mark talked him in to picking up a camera and it was like starting all over again. That first year with a camera was rough but they kept at it and the following year they finally found success and were both able to kill mature bucks on film.
Dave and Mark haven’t put down the camera since. In 2009, the LOF clan got together and dreamed up a TV show and after a lot of work Legends of the Fall came together. It has been an exciting ride and Dave can’t wait to see what the future holds. Dave is very luck to have a wife, Kristin, that is so supportive of what he does or this would not have been possible.
